There is a thin line between Ericksonian Hypnosis and genuine hypnotic mind control As most people already know, Ericksonian Hypnosis is the type of hypnosis that did wonders in therapeutic settings. But as we fully think about the scope of Ericksonian Hypnosis, we must also comprehend how it is related to NLP. But this movement that Ross Jefferies started did not stop other people from trying to use the persuasion techniques of NLP for influential and controlling reasons. This was the introduction of what is recognized as Dark NLP. Dark NLP, and literally everything that is either subtly or openly linked to it, has did not succeed more than everything else in history in the art of influencing other peopleand getting what you want. Dark NLP plainly doesn't work, and there are various reasons why it doesn't work. For one, there must be an conventional clinical background in order for the language patterns and principles of NLP to be effective. For instance, the shark is very powerful, but you can't take out the shark out of the ocean and expect it to be powerful. This identical theory applies to Ericksonian Hypnosis. When Dark NLP was invented, the founders who were practicing it were trying to use the power of Ericksonian hypnosis techniques outside of the clinical settings where NLP was useful. This simply didn't work then, it doesn't labor now, and it won't effort in the future. This means that a lot of "persuasion gurus" are not promoting the correct tools and social strategies to the masses of students who are paying them for advice. So, the only people whom Dark NLP does any good for are the deceptive "leaders" who are teaching it as if it were something that was associated to the art of persuasion and getting what you want.
