There is a lot of fear going around about the end of the world coming near. People have looked to the Mayan calendar to believe that the world will end in 2012. There are many people who believe this to be a high possibility of occurring. There are many theories on what will happen that year but what 2012: Earth Changes will truly be happening? Will it be some sort of illness that takes the people around the world by surprise? Read on and I will tell you the possible outcomes of what will happen when the year 2012 comes around.

There are many people who believe this to be a high possibility of occurring. There are many theories on what will happen that year but what 2012: Earth Changes will truly be happening? Will it be some sort of illness that takes the people around the world by surprise? Read on and I will tell you the possible outcomes of what will happen when the year 2012 comes around. Will anything truly happen on this year? What could happen in 2012? The first theory is that there might be a flu pandemic. There are a lot of rumors of this already beginning to happen with the current swine flu. Many people believe it is the beginning of the end. There is a lot going around about it and many people are becoming sick and dying. What would happen if the outbreak was not contained? Would it truly start a global trend of death due to this illness? What if the illness evolved into something even more lethal? These are the fear revolving around the flu pandemic of 2012. The next belief is that a pole shift can happen. If this happened then the earth's magnetic poles would become inverted and change to their opposites. Many electronic devices could malfunction and this could reek havoc on many people's day to day lives. This has been slowly happening for a long time and 2012 could be the year it finalizes. A solar flare may occur in 2012. If it happens it may be large enough to affect the earth. People may not die but it could be large enough to affect our technology. Cell phones may suddenly die, planes will instantly be lost. All the ways we keep in touch with the world may be lost to us for a day or more. Many believe this will also be the year of the Earth's rapture. This would be something that many people would rejoice to have. There are many beliefs about the end of the world. It could be something like an asteroid hitting the earth or a global ice age. No one knows for certain. With all of the theories about the effects of earth changes in 2012 that are floating around, such as solar flares, polar shifts and flu pandemics, it's hard not to take notice.
